I've been on many film sets and worked with many different crew, but I have to  say the experience I had working in Indonesia was by far the best time of my career. The people were so willing to bring my vision to life. It's almost like giving a piece of themselves to me. It's a heavy responsibility but I am truly grateful. After three decades in the industry, I think I earned the right to say that's what filmmaking is all about. It's to have that special connection with the place and people in order to tell a great story.
